1. Hannah Elks, born circa 1852; died 18 November 1912. She was the daughter of 2. David Elks and 3. Louisa Kent. She married William Snow, a farmer, son of Samuel Snow (deceased) on 6 February 1873.

2. David Elks, baptised 22 August 1819 in Alton, Staffordshire; died circa March 1900. He was a farmer at Ribden, Farley, Staffordshire. He was the son of 4. John Elks and 5. Margaret ------. He married 3. Louisa Kent in Alton, Staffs on 29 April 1851. After she died he remarried on 16 December 1879 to Elizabeth Hilliard, (born circa 1819, died circa March 1895) who was the widow of William Michael Hilliard, and daughter of Thomas Harris.

3. Louisa Kent, born circa 1840 at Stanlow (Ellestowe); buried 4 July 1879 in Alton, Staffs. She was the daughter of 6. Thomas Kent and 7. Hannah -------?

4. John Elks, baptised in Alton, Staffs on 30 January 1774; buried 10 August 1845 at Alton, Staffs. He was the son of 8. Paul Elks and 9. Elizabeth -------. His occupation in the 1841 Census is farmer at Ribden, Farley. He married 5. Margaret ---- circa 1810.
